Elderfield Guide Wiki is an independent, fan-made reference for Welcome to Elderfield. It is not affiliated with developer Chris Cote, publisher Kwalee, Ill-Advised Records, Steam, or any other rights holder.

What we publish

The site focuses on practical player questions: how the daily loop works, where a task points next, how an activity is performed, and what official sources currently say about release or platform availability. Each Wiki page should serve one clear search intent and open with the direct answer.

Verification policy

Stable facts such as the release date, platform, developer, and official system requirements are checked against first-party storefronts or developer channels. Task details may also use developer-marked Steam replies and dated community references. Community material is never presented as official, and historical Demo advice is labeled when it may not apply to the full release.

Each published guide separates three facts. Current game version is the latest release tracked across the site. Guide scope identifies the version covered by that page's sources. Last updated records a substantive page change. Version scope does not by itself mean that we played through the route. A stable page may retain an older scope when a later patch has not been reviewed for that page.

The verification panel also states the source class, a reproducible check where one is available, and important limits. “Source checked” means the cited information was compared on that date; it does not claim that every route was independently replayed by this site. Community reports are treated as leads or narrowly scoped workarounds, not universal fixes.

Development previews are labeled as planned and kept separate from released mechanics. When sources disagree on a number, we use the supported action without publishing a precise calculation from the conflicting value. Practical budgets, comparisons and prerequisites identify their source inputs.

We track numbered releases and later unnumbered hotfixes separately. When only a patch impact or a task link is reviewed, older roster and mechanics dates remain visible. Material budgets and troubleshooting sequences are our calculations and editorial guidance, with their inputs linked to sources.
